MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Canada is a resource-based economy and its search for innovative technology is in a continual struggle to find a balance between harnessing its resources and taking care of the environment while respecting Canadian values. One way to meet these demands is to produce home-grown scientists and engineers. The 2018 Canada Budget allocates $6.6 B - the largest investment in science in Canadian history targeting early career scientists.

FUWSE PRESIDENT
- FUWSE is an incorporated non-profit society, members of which are women scientists and engineers who are working for the innovative delivery of science education
- FUWSE aims to encourage boys and girls K-12 to pursue interests in STEM education
- FUWSE sees the need for role models specially women who are often underrepresented in the STEM fields
